International Smart Textiles Conference successfully concluded

How do R&D approaches become intelligent textile-based products?

From 21 - 23 September 2022, experts presented new technological developments in smart textiles at InMotion 2022 and discussed concepts for the successful path to series production. The conference focused on solutions for automotive, aeronautics and personal protective equipment.

Lectures - Discussions - Practical Workshops - Exhibition

InMotion2022 took place at the congress centrum weimarhalle in Weimar. Days 1 and 2 were dedicated to lectures and discussions from science and practice, as well as new approaches to solutions for marketable products. On day 3, participants were able to design smart solutions in hands-on workshops.

Face-to-face and online

The scientific programme on 21 and 22 September was broadcast via livestream and simultaneously translated. However, the workshops on 23 September and the relaxed discussions during the breaks, the tour of the exhibition or the come-together in the evening could only be experienced live. In order to experience the cultural city of Weimar, there was a cultural supporting programme with a guided city walk and a guided tour of the Bauhaus Museum, which will open in 2019.
