Deputy Head of R&D (Smart Textiles)
- Kay Ullrich studied physical engineering at the West Saxon University of Applied Sciences Zwickau.
- In 2009, he started his industry-related research career at TITV Greiz as a research associate in the Smart Textiles group.
- Since 2013, he has been deputy head of research & development for smart textiles at TITV Greiz. He is mainly in charge of electronic function integrations in textile materials and the automation of the developed manufacturing and processing technologies. Another of his fields of work is the textile and electronic testing of smart textiles, which he promotes on a European level and for which he develops new methods and apparatus.
- Areas of expertise are: Process control, machine technology, informatics, electronics and testing methods.
